The American Diabetes Association now recommends people with both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes to participate in 150 mins./week of moderate to rigorously intense physical activity. Unfortunately, recent evidence suggests most patients with diabetes fail to meet these guidelines, many of which have functional limitations preventing them from participating in activity.
There are 3 Cornerstones to Diabetes Management
1) Nutritional education
2) Managing medication
